4. Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure. (Figure D)
Note: (1) For the Buick LeSabre, Oldsmobile Aurora and the Pontiac Bonneville
the (3) speed clips and screws provided with the kit will need to be installed into
the sub dash where the screw holes line up on the kit.
(2) A snap-in DIN spacer has been provided for some applications where
depth is an issue. Snap the spacer in the housing and slide DIN cage into the
assembly and secure by bending metal locking tabs down. (Figure E)
5. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the
proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery
terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
6. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly.
