IR Remote Special Features
NOTE: For accessing certain features or making various menu selections,
the IR Remote must be used.
17. PWR – Turns the source unit on and off.
18 Joystick Control (ENT) – Move highlight in menu selections. Press to
enter selection, also to enter into folders and select tracks in MP3
mode.
19 Joystick Control (Return - Toggle Left) – Use to exit or move back
through menus in set-up mode.

(Stop) – Stop disc play in CD Mode.
21.
(Play) – Plays the disc in CD mode. Press to pause in CD mode.
22. VOL (Volume) – Used to control volume level. "-" decreases the
volume level and "+" increases the volume level.

(Fast Forward) – Press to seek to next station or press and
hold to manually move up the frequencies in Tuner (Radio or TV)
mode. Selects the next track in CD mode. Press and hold for Fast
Forward in CD mode.

(Fast Reverse) – Press to seek to previous station or press and
hold to manually move down the frequencies in Tuner (Radio or TV)
mode. Selects the previous track in CD mode. Press and hold for Fast
Reverse in CD mode.
25. OPEN/EJ – Opens and closes the video screen. Press and hold to
eject disc in CD mode.
26. NUMERIC BUTTONS – In TV Tuner mode press to select a station
channel (02-69). In Radio Tuner mode press to select preset, or press
and hold to save the set radio station in preset selected, 1- 6, for the
tuner bank currently in (FM1, FM2 or AM). In CD mode, press to select
track number.
27. 2/RPT – Selects radio preset #2 in Radio Tuner mode and repeats the
current track in CD mode.
28. 3/RDM – Selects radio preset #3 in Radio Tuner mode and selects
tracks at random in CD mode.
29 6/A-B RPT – Selects radio preset #6 in Radio Tuner mode, or A-B
repeat select in CD Mode. During disc play press once for beginning of
repeat duration, press again for the end of repeat duration, the track will
repeat for the selected duration.
30. SEARCH / AS – In Tuner (Radio or TV) mode, press and hold to auto
store the strongest stations in each tuner bank, FM1, FM2, AM and TV
Tuner presets. In CD mode, press and hold to enter into Time Search
mode.

IMPORTANT: The 8-Pin communication BUS on the tuner unit is used ONLY for
the optional CD changers, RFX8810 or RFX8620M, and is not
backwards compatible with older RFX models. Rockford Fosgate
recommends connecting only the appropriate models together.
Rockford Fosgate does not assume responsibility when using other
manufacturers' source units with Rockford Fosgate CD changers (or
vice versa).
