AUDIO
This screen handles the controls for Fader and Balance, and access to the tone controls for Treble, Mid,
Bass, High-Pass and Low-Pass Filters.
1. Press and hold the SET-UP (S) button to enter into the menu screen.
2. Use the joystick on the remote to select AUDIO and press the joystick (ENT) to enter into the
Audio Adjustment screen.
3. Use the joystick to move around the selections in the Audio Adjustment screen. Press the joystick
(ENT) to enter into specific selection or to change a setting.
Speaker Lever
4. Pressing the joystick (ENT) when
Speaker Level is highlighted will allow
adjustments to speaker pairs, Front,
Rear, Left. or Right. Use the joystick
to make adjustments. Pressing up will
adjust the fronts, down-rear and so
on. Once the adjustments have been
made, press the joystick (ENT) to
return to the menu selections.
Adjustments made here will not
affect the center or woofer settings.
Front L, Front R, Rear L, Rear R, Center and Woofer
5. Pressing the joystick (ENT) when one of the Speaker Settings is highlighted will allow adjustments to
that speaker. Press up or down on the joystick to make adjustments from -9 to +9, default is 0. Once
the adjustments have been made, press the joystick (ENT) to return to the menu selections.
Infrasonic
6. Pressing the joystick (ENT) when Infrasonic is highlighted will turn the infrasonic filter either On or
Off. On turns on a high pass filter that removes inaudible low frequency information that can be
damaging to some speakers
DR Comp (Dynamic Range Compression)
7. Pressing the joystick (ENT) when DR Comp is highlighted will turn the selection either On or Off.
This feature is only usable on Dolby Digital encoded discs.
Beep
8. Pressing the joystick (ENT) when Beep is highlighted will turn the Beep indicator either On or Off.
When On, an audible "BEEP" will be heard whenever a button selection is made.
Tone
This screen is used for High-Pass frequency adjustments to the Front, Center and Rear channels and Low-
Pass frequency adjustment to the Woofer. It is also used to adjust the Treble, Mid and Bass settings
9. Press up or down on the joystick to move through the
selection. Press left or right on the joystick to change
the settings.
10. Press the joystick (ENT) when adjustments are
completed to return to the previous screen.
The default is Off or 0 on these settings. Front and Rear are
Off, 80Hz, 100Hz and 150Hz. Center is Off, 80Hz, 100Hz,
150Hz, 200Hz and 250Hz.Woofer is Off, 60Hz, 70Hz, 80Hz
and 90Hz.The Treble, Mid and Bass can be adjusted from -10
to +10.
