7.2 CORREX ® MP 1.9-900 for insulated-hole mounting
Note: Observe the instructions set out in chapter 2.3 above.
7.2.1 Safety instructions for fitting:
1. Remove any existing magnesium protection anode before installing the
CORREX
2. Never connect the plug-in potentiostat to magnesium protection anodes.
3. The titanium anode must not be in direct contact with internal tank components
or with the tank wall. The quality of the insulation must be checked with a
suitable measuring instrument (e.g digital multimeter or CorroScout

used.
7.2.2 Sketch: Fitting and commissioning
The illustration on the fold-out page (chapter 11.1) of this manual shows an
example of the installation procedure for a CORREX

depends on tank type, tank size, type of anode and connecting cables used.
Note: Leave the fold-out page (chapter 11.1) open when installing the system.
