The 64060627 Battery Pack kit includes the 64060625 Battery Pack and a 3m (10 ft.) cable with
connector.
The battery should be located in an area close to the terminal and secured so it does not fall and
get damaged. The battery can be mounted in any orientation but it should be positioned in such a
way that contaminants cannot fall into the connector while the cable is disconnected. Mounting
hardware is not included with the battery pack and must be supplied by the installer. Refer to Figure
3-2 for the mounting dimensions.

3.2.1.

Battery Cable Length

The battery connecting cable is 3m (10 ft.) long and is used to connect the battery to the
intrinsically safe terminal. The cable for the battery pack must not be lengthened.
