2. Safety instructions

WARNING: Carefully read all safety warnings and all instructions. Save
all safety warnings and all instructions for future reference.
WARNING: Staring into the beam or viewing the laser output with
certain optical instruments designed for use at a distance (for example,
telescopes or binoculars) may pose an eye hazard.
WARNING: The laser beam of the Agrilaser Autonomic could cause
dazzle or after images, particularly under low ambient light conditions.
This may have indirect safety implications if experienced while performing
safety-critical operations.
CAUTION:
• The Agrilaser Autonomic may be used by adults only.
• The laser module and motor platform have no user serviceable parts inside.
• Operate only in undamaged condition. Use of the product when damaged
may result in exposure to hazardous laser radiation.
The laser safety labels as shown in figure 2.1 can be found on top of the
laser module. The entrapment hazard label as shown in figure 2.2 can be
found on front of the motor platform.
Contact your local Agrilaser dealer for any questions related to product safety.

Detailed instructions of how to assemble the Agrilaser Autonomic can
be found in the Installation Guide.
Before using the Agrilaser Autonomic make sure that:
• The Agrilaser Autonomic is placed in upright position.
• All bolts and nuts of the supporting frame are tightly secured.
• The Agrilaser Autonomic is firmly connected to the subsurface. This can
be done by the adding sufficient ballast to the supporting frame or by
physically connecting the system to the subsurface.
• The Agrilaser Autonomic cannot wobble or tilt on its position. When
stability is insufficient, change the position of the Agrilaser Autonomic or
add additional ballast to the frame.
• The Agrilaser Autonomic is not subject to surface vibrations, as these can
lead to displacement of the laser projection over time.
• Cables from laser to emergency button and from the emergency button to
the power source are properly connected. In case of using 110-230V city
power supply, make sure the adapter is placed between the emergency
stop and the power source.
• The emergency stop button is deactivated.
• The Agrilaser Autonomic software is installed on your computer.
Detailed steps on how to install the Agrilaser software can be found
in the Installation Guide.
Only use the Agrilaser Autonomic in upright position.
3.2 Turning on the Agrilaser Autonomic
CAUTION: Before switching on the Agrilaser Autonomic, make sure the
supporting frame is placed on a horizontal surface that is free of vibrations.
In addition make sure the system cannot wobble or tilt. By doing so,
projection of the laser on unintended areas will be prevented.
CAUTION: Do not stare into laser beam during configuration.
1. Push the ON/OFF button on the back of the laser module.
At this point, the system will perform a sequence of calibration steps in order
to maximize its accuracy.
CAUTION: After pushing the ON/OFF button, the motor platform will
start moving.
2. After calibration is completed, unscrew the blue cap of the laser housing
to reveal the USB-input.
3. Connect the USB-cable with the corresponding end of the cable to the
USB-input on the laser module.
4. Insert the other end of the USB-cable in one of the USB-ports on your
computer. Make sure your computer is switched on before connecting
the USB cable.
5. After connecting the USB cable to the computer, the following notification
