Before putting any of the poles tubes together, note the Safety Stop Bar on the top
pole section and the corrosion armor on the bottom post. Be sure when
installing the pole in the concrete, the safety stop bar is located toward
back of the top pole. See Figure 4.
5.
Install the alignment screws (#31) into the middle pole and top pole, line up
the slots in the pole with the screw and then slide the three pole sections
together as shown in Figure 3 & Detail 1A.
6. Insert carriage bolts (#7) into the square holes in the middle and top poles
and fasten using washers (#18) nuts (#4) and plastic nut caps(#10). See
Figure 3 & Detail 1B.
