2.4 Electrical Connections

The burner is equipped with multipole sockets for the electrical connections; refer to the wiring diagram
in chapter "4 Technical Characteristics and Data" for the connections. The electrical connections the
installer is to make comprise:
• Gas pressure switch and valve connection
• power line
• thermostat line
• hour counter and/or shutdown lamp, if any
The length of the connection cables must permit opening the burner and possibly the boiler unit door.
If the burner supply cable gets broken, it must only be replaced by an accredited person.
The burner must be connected to a single-phase, 230 Volt-50 Hz electric line.
Have the efficiency and suitability of the earthing system checked by professionally qualified
personnel. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by failure to earth the
system. Also make sure that the electrical system is adequate for the maximum power absorbed
by the unit, as specified on the boiler dataplate.
It is important to respect the polarities (LINE: brown wire / NEUTRAL: blue wire / EARTH: yel-
low-green wire) in making connections to the electrical line.
