2-Wire Simulator
The 2-Wire Simulator Function relies on an external power supply (3 VDC to 45 VDC), and
provides an output from 0.00 mA to 24.0 mA (–25% to 125%).
1.
Disconnect the 2-wire transmitter from the loop.
2.
Select 2-WIRE SIMULATOR and press the MODE button until 2-WIRE appears on the
display.
3.
Press the mA / % button to select current or percent.
4.
Connect the red lead to the positive (+) side of the circuit; connect the black lead to the
negative (–) side of the circuit.
5.
Adjust the output current by turning the control knob, or by using the output checkpoint
buttons.
