Door sensors: Remove the white ba ery protec on at the back of the sensor
by pulling it.
Mo on detector (if included): Insert the ba eries (included with the product).
Please assure correct polarity.
3. Familiarize Yourself with Your System:
a. Arrange the door sensors such that the magnet is on the right-hand side
of each sensor. The li le triangles on the middle of the sides of the sensor
and the magnet cannot be more than 8 mm apart. Posi on them so that
they are facing each other.
Posi on the mo on detector with the detec on window facing
downwards (to avoid that it detects anything)
The "S" bu on on the remote control is used to switch from the
doorbell-sound (2 different volumes) to siren sound. Cover the siren to
avoid damaging your hearing. Press the "S" bu on of the remote control
un l you hear the doorbell-sound ("Ding-Dong").
b. Press the Ac va on bu on ( ) on the remote control to arm the X1 Siren.
You hear a short beep accompanied by one brief flash of the LEDs.
c. Now move the magnet away from the first
sensor. You hear the doorbell-sound, and
the red light on the sensor will light up.
Repeat this procedure for all other door
sensors.

Mo on detector (PIR kits only): Wave your hand approximately
50 cen metres in front of the mo on detector. You hear a doorbell-sound,
and the detec on window of the sensor will light up.
4. Installing your system
Deac vate the X1 Siren using the Deac va on bu on on the remote
control( ). Now, mount the X1 Siren and door sensors following the
instruc ons in the manual.
How to mount the X1 alarm unit
Mount the X1 alarm unit with the included s cky pads or the two included
screws. First, install the back plate to the wall. Posi on the X1 unit onto the
back plate and secure it to the backplate with the screw at the bo om.
Once all components are mounted, ac vate the system: Select the "S"
bu on on the remote control to choose the loud siren sound. Now, to
ac vate your system, press the Ac va on bu on.
Daily use of your alarm system
Switch On/Off
Press the On/Off bu on on the X1 for 5 seconds to switch the unit on or off.
When switching on, you will hear one short beep, and the LEDs will light-up from
top to bo om. When switching the X1 off, you will hear one long beep sound,
and the LEDs will dim from the bo om to the top. When the X1 is switched on,
it will be in the same state (ac ve or deac vated) as it was when it was
switched off.
Ac va ng the system
On the X1 siren: short press the SET bu on. On the remote control: press the
Actva on-bu on. You will hear one beep as a confirma on that the system is
ac vated.
Indica on that the system is ac vated
The X1 features an indicator light that shows if the system is ac ve or not. When
the system is ac vated, the LED of zone 4 flashes every 5 seconds as an indica on.
To switch off the indicator light , whilst in ac vated mode, press the SET bu on
for 5 seconds. You will hear one beep, and the indicator light is switched off. To
switch on the indicator light again, repeat the above-described procedure.
