Body temperature

Normal body temperature is a range. The following table shows that
ranges of normal also vary by site. Therefore, readings from different
sites, even if taken at the same time, should not be directly com-
pared.

Normal ThermoScan temperature ranges
0 – 2 years
3 – 10 years
11 – 65 years

The range of normal varies from person to person and can be
influenced by many factors such as time of day, level of activity,
medications and gender.
