enerAl notes on sAfety
This operation manual is applicable for the machine USK
6-R.
The machine may only be handled by personnel who are
qualified.
Hold power tools by insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting tool may con-
tact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a «live»
wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool «live» and
shock the operator.
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.

Which it is intenDeD
The machine is destined for the grinding and polishing of
metal with flap wheels, plastic non-woven brushes and
abrasive belts without the use of water. The machine is
destined for grinding with the SUHNER BSGV 35 belt
grinder. The machine is designed exclusively for a 2-hand
application.

1.2 are regarded as incorrect use and are there-
fore not admissible.

Before connecting tool to a power source, be sure
the voltage supplied is the same as specified on

the name plate of the tool. The power supply should not
vary more than 10% above or below the voltage indicated
on the nameplate.
• Check grinding tool prior to use.
• The grinding tool must be mounted centrally
and positioned against the limit stop.
• The maximum allowable speed of the tool and
of the chuck may not be exceeded under any
circumstances.
• Observe national regulations.
• Remove safety guard.

The switch must be in the OFF position. To turn the ma-
chine on, push the ON/OFF switch toward the front unteil
it clicks in. Press the ON/OFF swith to trigger the blocking
and the machine shuts down.
