• Insert the plug (8) in the socket.
• Start the appliance by pressing the on/off button (1).
The chopper (Type D6401) can be purchased as an accessory from authorised
Imetec Assistance Centres.
• Clean the appliance after having used it.
• Disconnect the plug (8) from the socket.
• Clean the accessories according to the following table of the "Cleaning before first use"
chapter.
• Dry with a dry cloth.
The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of packaging in accordance
with the environmental protection standards.
Pursuant to Art. 26 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 49 of 14 March 2014 "Implementation
of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)", the
crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the product must
be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.
The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for
electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal,
the appliance can be handed over to the retailer when a new, equivalent appliance is
purchased.
Retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m2 can also be
handed electronic products that are to be disposed of measuring less than 25 cm, free
of charge and with no obligation to buy.
Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned
appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly
disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes
reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.

service centre at the Toll-Free Number below or via the website. The appliance is covered
by the manufacturer warranty.
Failure to comply with the instructions for use and maintenance provided in this manual will
render the manufacturer's warranty null and void.
The appliance is guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Evidence shall be
constituted by the date indicated on the receipt/invoice (provided it is legible), unless the buyer
can prove that the delivery occurred later.
