Units including the accessories may not be used if:
- there is any visible damage to the unit (breakage),
- the power cable is defective or worn or shows signs of aging,
- an invisible defect is suspected (after a fall)
- Do not use any damaged extension cables.
- Do not pull power cables over sharp edges, do not bend cables or allow them to be caught between objects.
- Do not point the nozzle, hose or pipe toward people or animals.
- Special care should be taken in the vicinity of children or old and frail persons.
- Special care should be taken when cleaning stairs.
- In the case of electric brushes, do not allow the rotating brushes to come into contact with the power cable.
- Only use brushes intended for use with the unit or brushes that have been specifi ed in the operating
instructions. The use of any other brushes may impair safety.
- Switch the unit off immediately if the unit leaks foam or water. Empty the tank and if necessary the folded fi lter.
- Acids, acetone and solvents may corrode parts of the unit.
- Do not leave the working unit unattended. Disconnect the plug from the mains supply when not in use.
- Switch the unit off and disconnect the plug from the mains supply every time before servicing or cleaning after use.
- Do not pull on the power cable to disconnect the plug from the power socket.
- The electrical tool must be switched off during connection. The power socket is permanently supplied with voltage when the plug is in the mains
socket regardless of the switch setting. In switch setting "0" the power socket could still be used as an extension cable (e.g. for lights).
- If the power cable of the unit is damaged, it must be replaced with a special power cable that can be ordered from the
manufacturer or its customer service.
- Units that are not repaired professionally pose a threat to the user. Work other than that described here is prohibited. No liability will be assumed for
damage caused by improper use of the unit or unprofessional repairs. Before using the unit, users should be given information, instructions and training
in how to use the unit and the substances it should be used for including safe ways to eliminate the extracted material. For maintenance, the user has to
disassemble, clean and service the unit wherever possible without causing a hazard to the service personnel or other persons. Precautionary measures
include cleaning before disassembling, ensuring there is local fi ltered forced ventilation where the unit is disassembled, cleaning the service area and use
of the correct personal protective equipment. With class M machines, the outside should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and wiped clean or treated
with sealing agents before being taken out of the hazard zone. All machine components should be considered contaminated when they are removed from
the hazard zone and the correct steps should be taken to prevent dust from spreading. When doing maintenance or repair, all soiled objects that cannot be
satisfactorily cleaned should be disposed of. These objects should be disposed of in impermeable bags in conformity with the applicable laws for disposing
of this refuse. The manufacturer or a trained person should carry out a technical check at least once a year consisting of checking the fi lters for damage,
making sure the machines are airtight and checking to see whether the control equipment functions correctly.
- Do not use a steam cleaner or pressure washer to clean the device
- Always route the cable and hose carefully to avoid creating a trip hazard
- Do not touch any electrical devices with wet hands.
To reduce the risks associated with improper handling:
- The power socket on the unit may only be used for the purposes defi ned in the operating instructions.
- Only allow professional technicians, e.g. customer service, to perform repairs to the unit. Only use original spare parts.
- Do not expose the unit to rain
- Do switch off the unit in case of a power failure to avoid accidently starting if power returns
- Please do the following to transport the vacuum cleaner and its accessories:
Vacuum cleaner: insert the sealing plug into the extraction opening and the motor head has to be securely connected with
the tank (close the seals). Seal the accessories into suitable plastic bags.
