LARM
Your can wake you up with a radio station or a pleasant sound. You

play. Confirm your selection by pressing the button.
Now you can activate the alarm (A LM ON) or deactivate it (A LM O F F) with the

If you have selected A LM ON, you can now set the wake-up time. This functions
with the buttons +/- and <</>> the same way as when the time of day is set.

Next, SOURC E will appear on the display and you can decide which signal you
want to be woken up with. The frequency areas FM and AM and an alarm tone
(B E E P) are available. Make your selection with the buttons << and >> and con-
firm it with the button. If you should decide on a radio station, you can use
the stations you have stored in the presets. Select from the 10 program memory
presets PRE S E T 0...9 per frequency band with the + and – buttons.
Now VOLUME will appear on the display and you can select the alarm volume of
your signal source with the buttons + and –. As soon as the alarm starts, the vo-
lume is slowly increased until it reaches the level you have selected. When you
confirm with the button, the setting of the alarm is finished. The display
will indicate A L ARM ON.
When setting the alarm time, please pay attention to the time format you have set. You can re-

cognize an activated alarm by the alarm symbol on the display. Before the first use, test the different
alarm volumes to find a volume that is appropriate for you. If you have connected a device to the head-
phones output, please consider that the alarm tone will only be transmitted through this device. That
means that you might not be able to hear the alarm e.g. if the headphones have shifted. Please make
sure that you switch off the alarm e.g. if you travel.

You can switch off an activated alarm by pressing the button for approx.
two seconds. The alarm will silence and the small alarm symbol on the display
will stop flashing.
