3. Connect the Access Point to the router using the supplied net-
work cable (D).
4. Establish the power connection using the supplied plug-in
power supply (E).
5. Scan the QR code (B) on the back of the Access Point.
As an alternative, enter the device number (SGTIN) of the
Access Points manually in the app.
6. As soon as the LED in the system key (A) lights continuously in
blue, confirm this in the app.
In case of other flashing behaviour, follow the instructions
in the app or see error descriptions (see "Error indica-
tions" page 17).
9 The Access Point will be registered to the server; this may last
several minutes.
7. Press the system key (A) after successful registration for con-
firmation.

6 Installation
The ALPHA IP Access Point must be positioned with a
minimum distance of 50 cm to your WLAN router.
The Alpha IP Access Point can be positioned on a table or installed
to a wall.
1. For wall installation drill two holes with a diameter of 5 mm
and a distance of 7.5 cm.
2. Insert the supplied dowels into the bores.
3. Screw in the supplied screws so that they protrude 4 mm from
the wall.
4. Hang the Alpha IP Access Point onto the screws.
