Before connecting the appliance make sure that the voltage and
frequency rated on the data plate conform to those of the mains
supply. An all pole trip switch with at least 3 mm between the con-
tacts must be installed between the unit and the mains supply.
The SERIAL +/- wires must only be connected to the sun/wind/rain
sensor. If the sensor has not been fitted you must isolate them.
• The appliance works off a 230V 50Hz power supply.
• The roller motor must be wired to an efficient earthing system.
The operator with integrated logic RS950 can either operate singularly or
in groups and the torque for the various versions is factory set for each
pying or use of the information contained in this document is punishable by law
different type of use.
The integrated electronics allows installation on all types of plant and is ready
to operate with the command and control peripheral devices.
The roller operators are commanded via radio or via cable by means of the
sun/wind/rain sensor.
FUNCTIONS (ONLY RS950)
Button function description
The transmitter buttons are associated with conventional ascending or
descending directions. If the motor is mounted in a rolling shutter or sun
blind and is fitted to the left, when its conventional position should be the
right, you can reset the inverted ascent/descent relationship by inverting the
associating the opposite command (see program step "6").

Important notes for memorising transmitters
• The maximum number of transmitters that can be memorised for each
operator is 20.
• "2" and "4"-channel transmitters must be memorised separately from
"3"-channel transmitters (see programming steps 4 and 5).
• The transmitter used to access programming cannot be cancelled.
• To wipe a code from memory the corresponding transmitter must be
present.
• In "4"-channel transmitters you may only memorise one pair of functions
for each roller motor.
"PMR" function description
Programming is carried out using just one button
"PMR" on the hand-held or wall mounted transmit-
ter. The button is in a protected position and can be
activated using a pointed object such as a pencil or
a paper clip.
"PMS" function description
• The terminology "Top dead centre" indicates the
position of the "travel limit" in correspondence with
the system (sun blinds or shutters) when it is com-
pletely wound up; i.e. the point at which the upwards
movement stops.
6
• During programming remember the following:
- The movement of the sun blind/shutter following
an upwards or downwards command will auto-
matically set the motor travel distance to the safety
minimum of about 2 seconds;
- If no operation is carried out within 30 seconds the
programmer will automatically quit the program-
ming mode;
- If no voluntary movement is carried out the previ-
ous "PMS" position will remain in force.
"PMI" function description
• The terminology "Bottom dead centre" indicates
the position of the "travel limit" in correspondence
with the system (sun blinds or shutters) when it is
completely wound out; i.e. the point at which the
downwards movement stops.
• During programming remember the following:
- The movement of the sun blind/shutter following
C H
an upwards or downwards command will auto-
C
matically update the "PMI" position to the point
C H
D
at which the motor stopped.
- If no operation is carried out within 30 seconds the
programmer will automatically quit the program-
ming mode.
- If no voluntary movement is carried out the previ-
ous "PMI" position will remain in force.
