Clean Inside of Conical and Parts.
It's very important to thoroughly clean your new FastFerment™ before use with the
recommended Five Star Cleaning Supplies and a soft sponge or cloth. The FastFerment™
has not been rinsed or cleaned prior to shipping. Clean and sanitize, soak if possible, all
parts before putting the unit together.
Tape Threads.
Take the supplied Teflon Tape and wrap the thread at the
bottom of the conical fermenter body in the same direction
as the threads rotate.
IMPORTANT NOTE: : If you put the Teflon Tape on backwards
the unit could leak. You might need 6-10 layers of Teflon
Tape. If any connection leaks during a leak test, more layers
of tape are required.
Attach the solid end of the Union Valve to the Conical Fermenter.
NOTE: Only screw the valve to where it touches the conical body.
Do not overtighten, as this might damage the threads.
Screw the Mason Jar Adapter on the Mason Jar.
Attach the Hose to the Hose Barb.
Attach the Mason Jar Adapter to the Union Valve and open the Union Valve.
Insert Grommet into the hole on the top of the 6" Screw Top Lid.
Insert the Airlock into the Grommet.
Place the completed FastFerment™ into the stand.
