• Use with 18 to 14 AWG COPPER ONLY 3-wire vacuum cleaner cord or Jr. hard service cord, or round supply cords 0.296 to 0.562 inches diameter.

TO INSTALL
1. Loosen two assembly screws and separate device husk from module (see Figure 1). Feed cord through rear opening in husk.
2. Strip cord jacket and individual conductors according to stripping diagram (see Figure 2) or per the strip gauge on the plug/connector face. Trim off all fillers. To ensure proper
clamping, only trim off lengths specified.
3. CAUTION: COPPER CONDUCTORS MUST BE FULLY INSERTED INTO TERMINAL CLAMP. CUT OFF ANY STRAY STRANDS. TERMINAL CLAMPS MUST TIGHTEN ONTO
BARE CONDUCTORS, NOT INSULATION.
Note: Terminal screw polarity is designated by screw color.
Connect wires per Figure 3 as follows: Twist all strands of each conductor tightly together (DO NOT TIN CONDUCTORS). Insert conductors into proper terminal clamp and tighten
each terminal screw clockwise (see Figure 3).
4. Re-attach device husk to module by aligning key in module with notch in husk. Alternately tighten the two assembly screws until the cord is gripped securely (see Figure 4).
Note: Plug Cat. No. 113 module must be flush with husk.
