NOTES: Use Maximum Device Rating Table to ensure proper selection of cable and to select proper Burndy die part number for crimp tube
applications. The captivating screw hole in the contact is in line with the flat part of the cam on the male contacts, and in line with the guide boss on the
female contacts. Use Silicone Spray Lube or cable pulling compound and a Com-a-Long tool to assist assembly of contact and sleeve if necessary.

Hold the cable end of the sleeve to cable to establish an idea of how much of the sleeve to cut off (if needed)
so that cable insulation outer diameter fits snugly in sleeve inner diameter. Be sure to cut conservatively.

Acceptable cable types include: DLO, W, & P.

Female contacts for taper nose and ball nose devices are not interchangeable.
Taper nose assemblies will not mate properly with ball nose assemblies.
