USE
Charging the battery (Cat. No. 124 and 125 only)
Before using for the first time, it is essential to continuously charge the device in order to optimize the battery lifetime.
The battery will reach full capacity following several charging/discharging cycles.
Charging the battery:
• Remain in a cool, dry place, well away from any inflammable products.
• Turn the switch to the «ON» position (Fig. 1-A).
• Plug in the charger cable (Fig. 2).
CAUTION: The battery must only be charged using the charger supplied with the device, with the Cat. No. 12003.
• Switch on the power supply to the charger, the indicator lights (Fig. 1-B) will blink.
• Once charged, the indicator lights (Fig. 1-B) turn green. Unplug the charger and turn the switch back to the «OFF»
position (Fig. 3).

To switch the device on, turn the switch (Fig. 1-A) to the «ON» position.
The indicator lights (Fig. 1-B) have two functions:
They indicate progress of the cycle. They turn off when the dehorning cycle is complete.
They indicate the battery charge level:
• 1 light - the level is 0 to 20%.
• 2 lights - the level is 20 to 70%.
• 3 lights - the level is 70 to 100%.

Once it is plugged in, a slight heating of the device occurs. The feeling of heat will increase during use. This is normal.
Always unplug your device once your dehorning session is finished.
In the event that the device overheats, the indicator light (Fig. 1-B) turns red and the cycle will be unable to continue.
Wait until the indicator light turns green again.
