Overdischarge protection
The battery 2 is protected by the safety system against
deep discharge In case of complete discharge, the
power tool is automatically switched off Attention:
do not try to switch on the power tool when the
protection system is activated the battery 2 can be
damaged.
Indicators of the state of battery charge (see
fig. 8, 11)
With the push of the button 25 the indicators 26 show
the state of charge of the battery 2 (see fig. 8, 11).
Overheating protection
Overheating protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool in case of overheat-
ing In this situation, let the tool cool before turning the
power tool on again
Overload protection
Overload protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool when it is operated
in a manner that causes it to draw an abnormally high
current In this situation, turn the power tool off and
stop the application that caused the tool to become
overloaded
Soft start
Soft start enables smooth start of power tools - the cir-
cular saw blade 14 is being run up gradually with no
jerks and kickbacks; no jump-like load is imposed on
the motor upon switching
Break rundown
Break rundown stops the spindle of the power tool
within 2 seconds after the power tool is turned off
High-torque mode
When sawing hard materials (for example, hard wood
such as oak or beech), the mode of operation with
high-torque is activated The activation of the high-
torque mode is indicated by the indicator 23 When the
high-torque mode is activated, it is recommended to
reduce the feed of the power tool
LED lamp
When the on / off switch 6 is pushed, the LED lamp 9
is automatically switched on that allows to carry out
works in low light conditions
Recommendations on the power tool
operation
Cutting depth setting (see fig. 13)
Before starting the operation, adjust sawing depth de-
pending on the work piece thickness The best cutting
edge quality is achieved when the projected part of
saw blade 14 does not exceed tooth height
• Loosen fixing lever 24 (see fig. 13).
• Set required cutting depth on scale 4, lifting or
lowering the power tool body
• Tighten fixing lever 24
Cutting angle setting (see fig. 14)
The power tool enables smooth cutting angle
adjustment within 0°- 50° range
• Loosen two fixing nuts 11 (see fig. 14).
• Set required cutting angle on scale 10, changing
power tool body inclination angle
• Tighten two fixing nuts 11
Remember that during inclined cutting
the cutting depth shown on scale 4 does
not correspond with actual values.
Cutting marks (see fig. 15)
• Cutting mark 18 shows saw blade 14 position during
vertical cutting (see fig. 15.1).
• Cutting mark 19 shows saw blade 14 position during
cutting at 45° angle (see fig. 15.2).
Make trial sawing to avoid errors.
Sawing (see fig. 16)
The efficiency and the quality of cutting
operations depends on the state and the
form of teeth of saw blade 14, therefore
proper selection of saw blade is extremely
important depending on the material being pro-
cessed and the type of works being performed.
• Make sure that the work piece is safely fixed face
down, because the quality of bottom cutting edge is
always better
• Switch on the power tool before saw blade 14 touch-
es the work piece Let saw blade 14 gain maximal ro-
tating speed
• Smoothly move the power tool forward without
bending or pushing
• Never press the tool - sawing requires certain time
Extra pressure will overload the power tool rather than
facilitate the operation
• Use additional supports when cutting large sheets
(chipboards, etc) to avoid bending and possible saw
blade 14 blocking (see fig. 16).
Cutting with parallel guide (see fig. 17-18)
Parallel guide 28 enables cutting along existing direct
work piece edge, and producing equally wide stripes
• Loosen fixing screw 21 of parallel guide 28 (see
fig. 17).
• Move parallel guide 28 to set a required work piece
width
• Tighten fixing screw 21 of parallel guide 28
Similar results can be reached by attach-
ing a board to a work part with screw
clamps and using such board as a sec-
ondary limit stop. Perform sawing by
