SPARK PLUG

Recommended plugs:
Standard: D8RC
For most riding conditions this spark plug heat range number is satisfactory. However, if the
motorcycle is going to be operated for extended periods at high speeds or near maximum
power in hot climates, the spark plug should be changed to a colder heat range(a higher
number).
NOTICE
Never use a spark plug with an improper heat range. Severe engine damage could re-
sult.
1.Disconnect the spark plug cap.
2. Clean any dirt from around the spark plug base.
3. Remove the spark plug.
4. Visually inspect the spark plug electrodes for wear. The center electrode shouled have
square edges and the side electrode shoule not be eroded.
