Excessive chain slack may allow the drive chain to da-
mage the engine cases.
4. Check the chain slider (2) for wear.
If the depth of groove exceeds the lirnit, the chain slider must
be replaced. See your CLIPIC dealer.
Chain slider depth limit:
6mm(0.2in)
5. Measure a section of the drive chain to deermine whether
the chain is worn beyond its service limit. Remove the drive
chain and measure the distance between a span of pins from
pins from pin center to pin center. If the distance exceeds the
service limit, the chain is worn out and should be replaced.
6. 1nspect the sprocket teeth for possible wear or damage.
