Care and Maintenance
Stopping and restarting the system due to servicing, water
stoppage, or other interruptions of operation

Set the power selector
switch to the OFF position.

Perform the maintenance
or servicing tasks.
• Washer replacement
• Clean the filter

Reconnect power to the unit at the
circuit breaker on the main electrical
panel.

Shut off all power to the unit at the
circuit breaker on the main electrical
panel.

Open the water tap and allow water
to run through the unit for several
minutes to purge any air from the
heater and water lines.
This step must be performed before
turning on power to the heater.
Failure to perform this step may
cause permanent damage to the
heating elements.
