Installation
Connector Wiring
RoomMatch subwoofers are equipped with two (2) Neutrik
®
additional subwoofer. The connector is factory wired to provide discrete amplifier channel drive to each of the woofers as follows:

Recommended Amplifier Power
Selecting the proper amplifier size for a given loudspeaker requires analysis of the transducer long-term (or RMS) power rating, dynamic
range of the input-source material (crest factor), desired sound pressure levels, and other factors. As a general guideline, to maximize
the performance of RoomMatch subwoofers, the following amplifier power ratings are recommended:

Bose PowerMatch
®
Bose PowerMatch professional amplifiers (sold separately) are easily configured to provide the recommended amplifier power for
RoomMatch subwoofers. PowerMatch amplifiers also provide presets for recommended signal processing, including several cardioid
bass array settings.
Recommended Signal Processing
Digital signal processing (DSP) equipment is required for infrasonic protection, crossover, and protection limiting functions. These DSP
functions are included with Bose PowerMatch professional amplifiers. Additionally, Bose
(sold separately) equipment provides presets for all RoomMatch loudspeakers.
If non-Bose amplifiers and signal processing equipment are used with RoomMatch subwoofers, the following signal processing filters
are recommended:

Floor or Ground-installed RoomMatch Subwoofers
RoomMatch subwoofers are shipped without array rigging hardware. Side-plate array rigging kits are not required for floor or ground-
stack installations of RoomMatch subwoofers.
CAUTION: If more than one RoomMatch subwoofers are vertically stacked for floor/ground installations, the subwoofers must
be secured together using installer-provided brackets or strapping, to prevent the possibility of the top subwoofers falling off the
bottom subwoofers and potentially causing serious bodily harm or injury!
Attaching Bose Side-Plate Array Rigging Kits to RoomMatch Subwoofers
To integrate RoomMatch subwoofers with full-range modules in suspended arrays, optional side-plate array rigging kits must be
purchased separately and installed as follows:
