Data Download

Both welding and test data can be retrieved from the Multi-Function Welding
Unit memory through the SSEL8403 Data Download Software contained in
the SMARTFLEX Application Software (SASW) CD-ROM. The CD-ROM is
included in the Multi-Function Welding Unit packaging.
To install the SASW follow the instructions shown on the back of the CD-ROM
cover.
Once the SASW is installed, proceed as follows to download the data:
1. Connect your personal computer to the SSEL8403 Multi-Function
Welding Unit through the serial cable included in the packaging.
If your personal computer is equipped only with USB ports use a standard
USB-RS232 adapter.
2. Switch the SSEL8403 Multi-Function Welding Unit on.
