ERROR DESCRIPTION
During printing, this confirms that welding
has been successful.
The ambient temperature is lower than –
10°C (14°F) or higher than 45°C (113°F).
The load current has exceeded the limits
(partially short-circuited fitting or other
manufacturers' fitting).
The fitting may be faulty or the welding
leads are not properly connected.
The extension lead is outside of tolerance.
The Multi-Function Welding Unit memory
has reached the maximum limit of welding
operations that can be stored.
The internal temperature of the Multi-
Function Welding Unit has exceeded 80°C
(176°F).
During welding the power supply has been
interrupted.
The memory does not contain any data to
download.
The ESC key has been pressed during the
welding process.
The power supply voltage is higher or
lower by more than 20% of the nominal
operating voltage.
You are trying to weld another
manufacturer's fitting.
The electrical resistance of the fitting is
outside the allowed limits or the welding
leads are not connected to the fitting.
The user has stopped the pressure test by
pressing the ESC key
The test pressure has fallen below the
minimum preset parameters.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
No action required.
Confirm that the temperature displayed
by the Multi-Function Welding Unit is in
fact the current ambient temperature.
Avoid direct sun light exposure. If the
ambient temperature displayed by the
Multi-Function Welding Unit is not
correct contact our Technical Service.
Replace the fitting.
Check the connection to the fitting.
Check the integrity of welding leads.
Check the extension lead size (cross-
section and length) are within the
recommended tolerances.
Download and/or erase data ASAP or
press ESC to continue with the welding
process.
Allow the Multi-Function Welding Unit
to cool down.
Wait for re-establishment of the normal
power supply conditions, allow the
assembly to cool down completely and
recommence welding.
You cannot print or download a welding
report.
Allow the assembly to cool down
completely and restart the welding
process.
Check power supply or generator is
operating correctly.
Check type of fitting attempted to be
welded.
Check the welding leads are connected
and rescan the bar code on the fitting, if
unsuccessful replace the fitting. If the
problem persist contact our Technical
Support Service.
You can restart the pressure test by
following the instructions on page 12.
Identify the leak, repair it then
recommence the test procedure.
