Balanced Source to Unbalanced Destination
If using a single-core shielded cable to connect a balanced source to
an RCA or stereo jack input on the WP22BU-D or to connect the XLR
output from the WP22BU-D to an unbalanced input on another device,
connect the positive output of the balanced source to the positive
input of the unbalanced destination. Connect both the source and
destination input grounds together and short the negative input of the
source to ground at the output of the source.

For the same connections but using a 2-core shielded cable, connect
the positive and ground as before, then short the negative conductor to
the shield at the destination end of the cable.
