FACE MASK AND EXHALATION VALVE
Disconnect the breathing valve from the face mask.
1.
Wash the face mask manually in warm cleaning fluid (maximum 55° C).
2.
Rinse the parts in clean water.
3.
Disinfect the face mask and the exhalation valve assembly. Follow the instructions

supplied with the disinfectant.
Rinse the face mask and the exhalation valve assembly thoroughly with clean

water.
Shake the mask to remove excess water and dry the mask and the exhalation
6.
valve assembly.
BREATHING VALVE
Mount washing plug, 31731-51, on the breathing valve.

With breathing hose attached to the breathing valve, pressurize the breathing

valve and wash it manually in warm cleaning fluid (maximum 55° C) with a brush
or sponge.
Rinse the breathing valve in clean water (maximum 60° C).
3.
Depressurize and disconnect the breathing valve from the pressure source.
4.
Remove the washing plug.
5.
Dry breathing valve.
6.
To perform extended cleaning and disinfection of the internal parts, disassemble the
breathing valve in accordance with the service manual. Clean the parts separately and
allow to dry completely.
ATTENTION! THE VALVE INSERT MUST NOT BE CLEANED.
ATTENTION! THE PARTS MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE ASSEMBLY.
Assemble the breathing valve in accordance with the instructions in the service
manual and then do a performance test.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

Store in a cool, dry and dust-free environment. Protect rubber parts from direct
sunlight, UV radiation and direct heat. When the regulator unit is not connected the
cylinder valve shall always have a protective plug.
During storage, the breathing valve shall be in the position for activated positive
pressure, see section 2.
During transport the product must be well protected inside the original packaging
material or equivalent packaging material.
