"Function : ED 15% for a maximum functioning period of 2 min. Max. 5 cycles per min.":
Your care bed is fitted with an OKIN system. The latter presents a service factor of 15% for a maximum of 2
minutes of continuous functioning. Thus, when you operate the bed continuously for two minutes, you must
then comply with an interval of approximately 14 minutes. Moreover, do not activate the hand-operated
control unit more than 5 times per minute.
We recommend that you follow this requirement in order to increase the life-span of your care bed.
Further hints for systems with hand control unit and integrated blocking device:
Before the first use of the bed remove the fastening of the key switch at the hand control unit.
Keep the key switch ready for use and safe of access by unauthorized persons.
We recommend the purchase of a second key switch, to make sure that the blocking device can be used
even when one key gets lost.
Special security device:
Your bed is equipped with a so called mains isolation (NFS).
Because of a electrical switch in the mains plug it is possible to
disconnect the mains voltage completely from all other electrical
components. With this it is ensured that the voltage is present at the
electrical components only when a button of the hand control unit is
pushed.
If something does not work when the bed was not used for some
days, you can activate the electrical switch mechanically by pushing
the green button. Afterwards the bed drives should work again.
