Using the device for the first time

When the device is delivered, the batter-
ies are already inserted. Activate them by
removing the insulation strips in the battery
compartment.
To open the battery compartment, proceed
as described in the following section.

Changing the batteries

1. Pull the device out of the socket.
2. Push the two side catch springs of the
battery compartment together at the
same time and pull the battery compart-
ment out of the device.
3. Remove the empty batteries and dispo-
se them of at a collection point for old
batteries.
