Step 3 for Power Mac or PowerPC (plug in installation) is no
longer necessary. The Photoshop plug in for PolaColor Insight
installs automatically during normal installation.
4 Connect the Scanner to

The first paragraph on page 7 has changed to the following:
The SprintScan 4000 requires a SCSI host adapter in your
computer. If your computer does not have a SCSI host adapter,
you must install one (see page 14). If your computer has a
SCSI adapter but the adapter is connected to a hard drive or
CD-ROM drive, installing a second SCSI host adapter is
recommended.
The note on page 7 has changed to the following:
Note: The address is preset to 5. Do not change it unless
another device is using 5. Do not use address switch settings 7,
