 If there is a fault or the appliance is not working correctly, switch the appliance off and
have it checked by professionally qualified staff; repairs done by an unqualified person
can be dangerous and cause the guarantee to become void.
DESCRIPTION
The appliance is comprised of a main unit (part 18), beneath which 4 caster wheels are
slotted in (part 6 and part 7): if these have not already been attached to the base, refer to
the diagram and proceed as follows: Place the main unit on a stable, smooth surface
to prevent scratches and insert (fully) the wheels into the holes in
the base: at the front insert those without the lock (7), at the rear
insert the 2 wheels with locks (6): the lock is engaged by lowering
the lever, and released by lifting the lever. Check that all 4 wheels
touch the floor.
The appliance is also made up of the following parts:
- Tank (4). It is located at the back and to disengage it from its seat, push down on the
rear clip (10), and then remove it. Place the tank back in its seat and press it down so that
the clip blocks the tank once more.
Caution: Always disconnect the appliance from the socket outlet before adding water to
the tank.
In front, the tank has a protruding part to view the minimum and maximum water level
(1L-5L), it also has a sponge-like filter which retains impurities (11) present in the
water, and two compartments: in the small one, 2 gel ice
packs are placed (see images as reference). Fill only with
lime-free tap water (e.g.: demineralised water) up to the
maximum level indicated. Do not exceed the level to avoid
spillage when moving the appliance, and do not fill to
below the minimum level (to ensure that the electric pump
is immersed).
Do not add any additives to the water (fragrances or essences or detergent). The tank
contains about 5 liters and provides cooling autonomy of about 8-9 hours.
Gel ice packs (9). These cool the water in the tank and consequently cool the air flow
from the fan. Leave the ice packs in the freezer for at least 12 hours before using them.
Front grid. When the appliance is running, the grid must be open. It opens and closes
(manually) by simply pressing one of the fins: if fully opened, they direct the air flow
horizontally, while if partially opened, they direct the air flow downwards.
Remote control (3). It allows you to operate all
functions. To use it, place one CR2032-type battery
inside its holder: the latter slides out from the
bottom as shown in the diagram.
