Installation
This submersible pump is intended for use as
a cellar pump to protect against fl ooding and
for removal of water in domestic situations,
e.g. in gardens, greenhouses, etc. There must
be suffi cient space around the pump for the
fl oat to move freely. The installation location
must be at least 40×40×50 cm.
Place the pump in the required location and
then plug it in.
The pump must be on a level surface, so

that there is no risk of it tipping over while in
operation.
The pump can be fully or partially
submerged in water. Tie a piece of rope

around the carrying handle, if necessary,
before submerging in deep water, and also
check that the cord is long enough for the
water depth.
The pump must not be left suspended by its
cord or hose.
Fit a check valve in the pipes, if necessary,
to prevent any backfl ow of water when the
pump is stopped.
If you are using a collecting vessel, you
should check that it is large enough to hold
the pumped liquid, so that it is not necessary
to interrupt operation of the pump.

If the pump is being used in a garden pond
containing fi sh, you must make sure that the
fi sh cannot be sucked into the pump.
Note!
You can use hoses of various diameters,
depending on the size of the particles to be
feed through the hose.
If you know that the water contains larger
particles (max. 25 mm), you should choose
the largest hose connector and cut off
the top narrower connector on the pump
connector so that the water and particles can
pass.
Note!
To be able to pump large particles of up to 35
mm, remove the pump connector and screw
a suitable hose directly onto the thread on
the side of the submersible pump.
