How To Set Up Your Dehydrator
EN
1. Plug the dehydrator into power outlet.
2. Follow your recipe to prepare the food that you wish to dehydrate;
3. Using oven mitts, slide the dehydrator trays out of the unit and load the
produce to be dehydrated onto the trays. For best results: Do not overlap
the produce and be sure to leave space between the items to allow for
maximum air circulation.
4. Using both hands for maximum stability, gently slide the dehydrator trays
back into the unit;
5. Turn on power to unit.
6. Select with ON or TIME. When turning to the ON position (with the
temperature also dialed to desired heat), the dehydrator will operate for a
pre-set time of 15 hours. By selecting TIME, you can turn the dial to your
selected drying duration up to 15 hours. The dial will wind back down to 0.
7. Water droplets may form on the surface of some ingredients while
dehydrating. These can be removed by blotting the product with clean
towel or paper towel.
NOTE: Drying times may vary depending on several factors including relative humidity,
air temperature and ingredient thickness, temperature and fat content. The actual
temperature of the dehydrator is based on the ambient temperature of 21.C/70.F. If
the dehydrator is not used in the ambient temperature of 21.C/70.F, the temperature
indicated on the Temperature Control Knob may not be achieved/may be exceeded.
