Transportation and unpacking
5.1

5.2
Transport
CAUTION
Slipping, tipping or falling loads due to a transportation error can cause severe injuries
and damage!
Before operation and transport using craning equipment, cranes and other means of transportation,
the manufacturer's safety instructions must be adhered to.
As a matter of principle:

Heavy machine parts must be fastened carefully to the lifting tackle and must be secured.

Fit suitable transport securing devices for movable machine parts.

Only use suitable and undamaged lifting tackle and lifting points with suitable carrying capacity.

Only authorise experienced persons to perform transportation and fitting of lifting equipment.

Use marked or otherwise suitable lifting points.

Observe the stipulated transport position and the centre of gravity marking.

Secure loads safely and never move them or put them down with a jerking motion.

Do not stand or work under a suspended load.

Wear safety shoes

Adhere to the permissible ground load of the transport path.

If necessary, the transport path must be cordoned off and secured in such a way that no
unauthorised persons have access to the danger area.

Keep to all local safety regulations for transportation.

Transportation of the machine takes place using a forklift truck and a pallet lifter.
-
Always secure the machine in such a way that it cannot move during transport.
5.3
Transport damage
The shipment of the machine is organised and carried out by a qualified transport company.
Regardless, damage and loss can occur. Therefore, it is essential that the operator checks the
machine on delivery for completeness and for damage due to the transport.
Report losses and damage instantly in writing to the transport firm in charge, the transport
insurance and to the firm Gebhardt Anlagentechnik GmbH & Co KG.
5.4
Unpacking
The machine must be unpacked carefully to prevent scratches or dents on the machine.
