The following restrictions apply to the unit:
• Only intended for connection to a biOrb
transformer.
• Only use indoors and for aquaristic purposes
in the home (not for commercial use).
INSTALLATION, CONNECTION,
START-UP
C A U T I O N
Strong LED radiation!
Possible consequences: Eye injury due to light
flash.
• Never look into the light source.
Prerequisite:
• The plug-in transformer of the aquarium has
been disconnected from the power supply.
How to proceed:

• Insert the lighting unit into the cover of the
biOrb aquarium.
COMMISSIONING/START-UP
How to proceed:

1. Insert the plug of the lighting unit into the
separate socket of the plug-in transformer.
2. Insert the plug-in transformer into the socket.
– Ensure that all connection cables form a
drip loop.
3. Actuate the switch of the lighting unit for
switching on/off.
CLEANING
Cleaning cloths are available as OASE biOrb Rei-
nigungstücher Set (46027).
How to proceed:
• Bottom surface of the lighting unit: Wipe with
a special cleaning cloth to avoid scratches.
• Wipe the top with a damp cloth.
DISPOSAL
N O T E
Do not dispose of this unit with domestic waste.
• Render the unit unusable beforehand by cut-
ting the cables and dispose of the unit via the
return system provided for this purpose.
