Description
The energizer is OFF.
The indicator lights show the
battery voltage for a thirty
second period, then time out.
Note:
The energizer does not
operate in Battery Test mode.
The energizer delivers a pulse
once every 2.5 seconds.
This setting is recommended
when using the energizer to
control slow-moving animals.
The energizer operates in ON
mode during daylight and in
SLOW mode during darkness.
This setting conserves battery
power. It is recommended
when using the energizer to
control animals that do not
move around at night.
The energizer delivers a pulse
once every 1.5 seconds. The
voltage is reduced and the
energy is half of that delivered
in ON mode.
The energizer delivers a pulse
once every 1.5 seconds.
Maximum voltage and energy
is delivered, depending on the
load.

Testing the voltage of a 9 V
battery
If the energizer is operating in SLOW, NIGHT, LOW
POWER or ON mode and the battery voltage falls
below 5.5 V, the energizer will automatically switch
to LOW POWER mode and deliver a pulse once
every 2.5 seconds.
If you are using a 9 V battery to power the
energizer, you can test the battery voltage at any
time.
Turn the rotary switch to BATTERY TEST mode. The
three indicator lights show the battery voltage for a
thirty second period, then time out.

Testing the voltage of a 12 V
battery
If the energizer is operating in SLOW, NIGHT, LOW
POWER or ON mode and the battery voltage falls
below 11.2 V, the energizer will automatically
switch OFF.
If the battery voltage then increases to more than
11.8 V, the energizer starts operating in the mode
indicated by the rotary switch.
If you are using a 12 V battery to power the
energizer, you can test the battery voltage at any
time.
Turn the rotary switch to BATTERY TEST mode. The
three indicator lights now show the battery voltage.
