VCR User Setting

Rental Playback Rental Playback
This function enables you to improve the picture quality when playing back
worn cassette tapes such as rented videos.

Press [SET-UP] to display the main menu.

Use [Cursor K / L ] to select "USER'S SETUP", then press
[ENTER].
or

Use [Cursor K / L] to select "RENTAL", then press
[ENTER] to select "ON".
or

Press [SET-UP] to exit.

Press [PLAY B] to start playback.
Note:
• This setting will not change even if you turn off the unit.
• To cancel the setting, select "OFF" at step 3.
Auto Repeat Playback Auto Repeat Playback
This function allows you to repeat playback indefi nitely.

Follow steps 1 to 2 in "Rental Playback" above.

Use [Cursor K / L ] to select "REPEAT PLAY", then press
[ENTER] repeatedly until the desired selection "ALL" or
"BLANK" appears.

Repeat playback from the beginning to the

which is blank for more than 10 seconds.
OFF Cancel repeat playback.

Press [SET-UP] to exit.

Press [PLAY B] to start the repeat playback.
Note:
• If the rental mode is set to "ON", "RENTAL PLAY B" display
has priority.
• This setting will not change even if you turn off the unit.
Auto Return Auto Return
This function allows you to automatically search the beginning of the
recorded program(s) after timer recording fi nishes.

Follow steps 1 to 2 in "Rental Playback" on the left
column.

Use [Cursor K / L ] to select "AUTO RETURN", then
press [ENTER] to select "ON".
or

Press [SET-UP] to exit.

When all the timer recordings are completed, the
unit will rewind to the beginning of the recorded
program(s) and then turn itself off.
Note:
• If you turn off the unit while rewinding the cassette tape, the
auto return will stop.
To cancel the auto return mode
Press [ENTER] once again at step 2 until "OFF" is
displayed on the TV screen.
• Even if any power failure occurs, the unit will retain its
memory for this feature.
