8. When the blending operation is completed, turn the speed selector back to position "0" and unplug
the power cord from the outlet. Allow the appliance to cool down to room temperature.
You can also add more ingredients while the appliance is operating by removing the filler
opening lid from the lid. To do this, turn the filler opening lid counterclockwise as far as it
will go and pull it up and off.
However, please note that it is not always possible to avoid splashes when the filler opening lid is
open. Replace the filler opening lid as soon as you have finished adding the extra ingredients. Do not
operate the appliance any longer than necessary with the filler opening uncovered.
You can also use the filler opening lid as a measuring cup.
The "P" mark stands for the "Pulse" function. Turn to "P" will cause the appliance to operate
at full power for a short period. Use this function if you want to blend something very
vigorously for a short time (e.g. to whip a liquid into a foam) or if you want to crush ice
cubes.

CLEANING
1. To switch the appliance off, turn the speed selector to the "0" position and disconnect the power
cord from the outlet.
Before cleaning the blender, always make sure that the plug is disconnected and allow the
appliance to completely cool down before you clean it or put it away!

Make sure that no liquid gets inside the drive unit. Danger of electric shock!
2. To clean the drive unit, use a dry cloth. If necessary, the cloth may be slightly damp, but must be
well wrung out.
3. Then wipe thoroughly dry.
For cleaning, never use strong or abrasive cleaning products or sharp edged objects.
CLEANING THE BLENDING JUG:
The blades are very sharp. Do not touch them with bare hands. Danger of injury!
Follow all safety instructions at all times!
