Installation and operating
instructions
1. Installing the electric pump
– Unscrew the yellow plug from the union nut before
installing the electric pump on the container's
pump connection. (See operating instructions for
the electric pump)
– Screw electric pump to the union nut on the pump
connection.
– Screw filling hose into the filling side of the pump
at an angle of 1".
– Screw nozzle with revolute joint onto the filling
hose.
2. Installing the flowmeter
– Screw flowmeter into the filling side of the electric
pump at an angle of 1". (See operating instructions
for the flowmeter
– Screw filling hose to the bottom of the meter.
Note: Check all screwed connections for leaks.
3. Commissioning
– Screw the cap on the ventilation and aeration line
(Pos. 1).
– Turn the ball valve on the sampling line (Pos. 2) to
the "open" position.
– Switch on electric pump, open nozzle and start fill-
ing the tank.
– Check the level in the tank by unscrewing the dip
stick cap (Pos. 4) and removing the dip stick.
Note: Before starting to fill the tank you must open
the ventilation and aeration line as well as
the sampling line.
4. Filling the tank
Unscrew cap on filler neck (Pos. 3). When filling the
tank from a tanker the limit value transducer (Pos. 5)
must be connected. The limit value transducer is set to
a 95% filling in the factory. When filling the tank at
a filling station with automatically closing nozzle no
limit value transducer is needed.
Note: The ventilation line must be opened to fill
the tank.

5. Readiness for transport
– Firmly close the filler neck (Pos. 3) and dip stick
cap (Pos. 4).
– Screw the cap on the ventilation and aeration line
(Pos. 1).
– Turn the ball valve on the sampling line (Pos. 2) to
the "shut" position.
Note: If an excess pressure arises in the closed
tank during storage or transport due to the
influence of temperature this is released by
the safety valve.
6. Recurrent tests, inspections
The CEMO DT-MOBIL must be subjected to an
inspection that meets the requirements of the pertinent
authorities at intervals of no longer than five years in
accordance with ADR 6.5.1.6.4 a) with respect to com-
pliance with the design, including the labelling as well
as its external and internal condition and the perfect
function of the operating equipment. This does not
apply for the check of the interior space, that should
be inspected for the first time after ten years and then
every five years.
Note: A report on every inspection must be kept by
the owner at least until the next inspection.
In addition, the tank must be subjected to an inspec-
tion that meets the requirements of the pertinent
authorities at intervals of no longer than two and a
half years in accordance with ADR 6.5.1.6.4 b) with
respect to its external condition and the perfect func-
tion of the operating equipment.
Important
According to ADR 5.2.1.2 and 5.2.1.4 every fuel con-
tainer must be clearly and permanently identified with
the UN number of the filling and the hazard warning
label before transport.
Two copies each of the UN number (UN 1202) and the
hazard warning label (flame on red background) for
diesel fuel and heating oil are enclosed.
