Check that the batteries
have been correctly in-
serted (polarity)
Check whether the tube
connecting piece is correct-
ly inserted in the device
Check whether the tube
connecting piece is intact
Check whether the arm is
laying still and relaxed
Was there talking during
the measurement?
Check that the arm cuff is
on properly
Check whether the arm cuff
or tube has a hole
Put the arm cuff on correctly.
Check whether the tube connecting
piece is correctly inserted in the device.
Check whether there is a hole in the tube
or arm cuff.
Relax for at least 30 minutes, then re-
measure. If you get the same results, you
must see your doctor immediately.
Replace the old batteries with new ones.

Replace with new ones
Insert batteries correctly
Insert the tube connecting piece gently
into the connection
Replace with a new tube connecting
piece
Ensure a calm and relaxed position
Do not speak during the measurement
Fasten the arm cuff correctly
Replace the arm cuff with a new one
