Connect one end of the Ethernet cable (included) to an available port
on your router. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the port
labeled Internet.

Connect your existing phone cables. Connect your existing phone
cable to the port labeled Phone.

troubleshooting
No dial tone, cannot make or receive calls:
• Make sure all cables are properly connected. Please see the installation instructions for more information.
• Check the lights on the ACN Phone Adaptor. See the section of this document entitled "What do the lights on the ACN Phone Adaptor mean?"
• Check to make sure your Internet service is working by visiting several websites on your computer. If websites do not display in your browser,
then you may be experiencing an Internet outage. Contact your Internet provider to resolve this issue.
• Try removing the power from the ACN Phone Adaptor. Wait 1 minute, then plug it back in. The Power and Phone lights should light up and remain lit.
• If a dial tone is still not present, make sure the Power light is lit continuously.
• If the Power light and Phone light are continuously lit, try to make a phone call.
• If you cannot make a phone call, try another phone/handset with your ACN Phone Adaptor. It is possible that you may have a faulty phone.
• If none of the above resolves the problem, please contact ACN Digital Phone Service Technical Support.
Reset instructions: (Should only be performed when instructed by ACN Digital Phone Service Technical Support.)
1. Leave all cables connected.
2. Locate the needle-sized hole on the back panel of the ACN Phone Adaptor labeled Reset.
3. Insert a pin/paper clip into this hole, press/hold for 7-10 seconds until the device lights flash.
4. Remove the pin/paper clip.
5. Wait 2-4 minutes while the ACN Phone Adaptor reloads its software and configuration. Once the Power and Phone lights are continuously lit,
the device is ready to use.

step 2:
Place the ACN Phone Adaptor near your router and connect the AC
Adaptor to the back of the Phone Adaptor in the port labeled DC 12V.
step 4:
Plug the AC Adaptor into a power outlet. Your ACN Phone Adaptor will
begin the start-up process. After approximately 2-4 minutes, once the
Power and Phone lights are lit continuously, the device is ready to use.
What if I don't have a router?
The ACN Phone Adaptor requires an Ethernet connection and a DHCP
server to enable it to connect to the Internet. It is possible to connect the
ACNPhone Adaptor directly to your modem via the supplied Ethernet
cable; however without a router it will not be possible to share your
Internet connection between the ACN Phone Adaptor and your PC.
Can I configure or make changes on the ACN Phone Adaptor?
The ACN Phone Adaptor is preconfigured to connect to the ACN network
and support all ACN Digital Phones Service features and functionality.
No configuration or changes are necessary.
How do I know if I have a voice mail message?
The Phone light on the ACN Phone Adaptor will blink in 1.5-second ON/
OFF intervals. There will also be intermittent dial tone audible on any
phones connected to the ACN Phone Adaptor. Some telephones may
also have an icon, light, or other indicator of a message waiting.
How can I connect phones in different areas of my house?
There are many models of cordless telephone systems commercially
available that allow for connecting a cordless telephone base unit to the
ACN Phone Adaptor. The base unit can communicate wirelessly to other
cordless phones throughout the house.
