• When using an electric hotplate or induction,
make sure that the size of the hot plate does not
exceed the size of the pressure cooker base.
• On a ceramic or halogen plate, always make sure
that the pressure cooker base is clean and dry.
• On a gas burner, the flame should not extend past
the diameter of the pressure cooker base.
• For all heat sources, make sure that your pressure
cooker is properly centred.

• Move the Opening/Closing handle from the
horizontal to the vertical position (the jaws open)

• Lift the lid.
If you cannot open the lid:
• Move the Opening/Closing handle back to the
horizontal position and check that the pressure
indicator (D) is in low position.
