Main Board (Relays Module) (Ref. 2579)

System allows up to four mainboards. Each mainboard manages up to five relay cards. Each Relay
Card handles 10 apartments.
Four lines of the mainboard bus (Dt, Ck, E, G) and the 12 -35Vdc(+,-) power supply reach each
mainboard from the Telephone Central Unit.
It also provides the selected line with two pairs of telephone lines (C1, C2, V1, V2).
The number of each mainboard (from 0 to 3) is indicated by means of the switches in each mainboard
as described in the following table:

Telephone System Relay Card (Ref. 2580)

Each relay card selects one of the 10 apartments which are connected to it. The place in which each
relay card is plugged determines which telephone line is handled.
Altogether, each Telephone Central Unit has the capability to handle 199 dwellings (4 mainboards x 5
relay cards x 10 apartments). Apartment number 0 is not used.
