Step 2: Main Boards interconnection
We find on Main Boards two microswitches to give a number or address. The Central Unit can
differentiate the Main Boards using that number.

Step 3: Relays Card
Relays Card are placed on the Main Board slots. Each Relays Card can support up to 10 users, and
each Main Board up to 5 Relays Cards.

Notes about connector
Building Telephone System uses a Centronics 50 way connector. Each user is
represented by 2 pairs of wires, and takes up 4 pins as shown on following figure(Ex.
Line1 pins 1 and 2, user side; pins 26, 27 telephone exchange side). If a shortcircuit is
done between a pin and the pin in front of it, (1 with 26, 2 with 27,...) line remains like
without installing Telephone System.
