EFC adjustment (earth fi eld correction), only in Avant 32 DVD
East/west trapeze (EW-TZ)
Adjust until the distance between the vertical lines are equal at the top and at the
bottom of the picture.
East/west parallelogram (EW-PG)
Adjust the vertical lines to be as straight as possible. Pay special attention to the
lower and upper part of the lines.
Horizontal bow (BOW), only format 1 (15:9)
Adjust the vertical lines to be as straight as possible.
Please note that this is only necessary if PCB9 has been replaced.
- Select format 3, press LIST (until FORMAT) + 3.
- Enter SETUP and enter SERVICE MENU. Select MONITOR and select Earth fi eld
correction. Ensure that COMPENSATION has been set to ON.
Select the parameter to change and press GO. Change the parameter setting with
l
n
and
. Press GO when the parameter setting is ok.
Select a new parameter or press STOP to return to MONITOR SERVICE MENU.
Press EXIT to exit the menu.
TOP SKEW
Adjust the top horisontal lines to be as straight as possible.
BOTTOM SKEW
Adjust the bottom horisontal lines to as straight as possible.
