7.9. Electronic Steam wand
If the machine is equipped with an electronically-controlled steam wand (no
manual steam tap), this option adjusts which keypad will control it. If the
machine has not one, this option must be set to 0. Adjust the number by
pressing (+) (1 short espresso) or (-) (1 long espresso). To accept the setting
and proceed to the next menu, press the continuous brewing button.
Once selected which keypad will control the electronic steam wand, the time that steam is coming out from it
(the dose) can be adjusted as explained for the other buttons in the User Manual.
If your electronic steam wand, has a temperature probe (as per customer's request), when adjusting the dose
as explained in the User Manual, what will be controlled will not be the time steaming, but the temperature of
the liquid being heated up. This means, that once adjusted the electronic Steam wand with temperature probe,
the machine will steam up the liquids stopping always at the very same temperature measured on the liquid
being heated, independently from the volume of liquid being heated up.
