The table has 5 rows containing 3 columns. The first column is the maximum average weight, the
second column is the daily gain and the third column is the correction factor.
The default settings are as follows:
Row
1
2
3
4
5
This means:
From weight 0 to 180 gr, the daily gain is 20 gr per day, and the correction factor is 1.00
From 180 gr to 480 gr, daily gain is 42 gr per day and factor is 1.00. And so on.
If you feel the expected average weight is too low then increase the "Daily Gain".
If you feel the average weight is lower than it should be, increase the "Factor".
Display message: "Until Weight Column"
The value entered here is the end of the range in kg.
For example: 0.180 was entered in the first row. This means that the rest of the values in this row
correspond to a range of 0 to 180 grams.
The value in the second row is 0.480. This means that the rest of the values in this row correspond
to a range of 181 to 480 grams. And so forth.
Daily weight gain
This is where the daily weight gain is entered. This number is added to the average weight at the
'Reset time' and the outcome of this calculation is the new expected average weight.
Factor
Correction factor to compensate for smaller chickens weighed too often. This correction is applied
at the 'Reset time'. The calculated average weight is multiplied by this factor and the outcome of
this calculation is the new average weight, which is shown on the screen.
